“Sestav si svůj svět” is a collectible project for everyone who enjoys traveling around the Czech Republic and wants to preserve memories of the places they’ve visited. The foundation of the project is a unique series of tourist magnets in the shape of puzzle pieces, which connect to form one large image – your own travel world.
What are the “Sestav si svůj svět” magnets?
Each magnet depicts a specific tourist site in the Czech Republic – it can be a castle, chateau, lookout tower, natural monument, museum, or another attraction. The magnets have a unified format (puzzle piece shape), so you can connect them into larger units and visually create a map of the places you’ve visited.

Where can you get the magnets?
The magnets are available directly at the location they depict – usually at the information center, or souvenir shop. Each location where a magnet is available is marked on the map on the website.
The project also has its own mobile app for Android and iOS, which serves as a digital collector's journal. In the app, you can keep track of collected magnets, plan new trips, and view statistics of your travels.
With the app, you can also:
- Display a map of visited places
- Check which magnets you are still missing
Who is the project for?
The project is suitable for everyone – families with children, individuals, couples, and seniors. It offers a fun way to motivate children to travel, while creating a memory collection of places you visited together. Thanks to the puzzle-piece format, everyone can literally "build their own world" based on where they’ve been.
Regional game: Discover Pojizeří and Polabí
In 2020–2021, a regional contest called “Discover Pojizeří and Polabí” took place as part of the project, encouraging visitors to discover places around Mladá Boleslav, Nymburk, and Poděbrady.
Aim of the event
To get to know the rich selection of monuments and attractions in the Pojizeří and Polabí – both the well-known and less-visited places. The game was open to all age groups, suitable for individuals, families, and groups.
How it worked
At each participating location, a “Sestav si svůj svět” tourist magnet with an image of the site was available.
Each magnet included a unique contest code, which the collector entered into their account on the website.
For every 10 magnets collected from this region, the participant received a bonus magnet for free – a unique collector's piece not for sale.
Evaluation was automatic, and participants received an email with information on where to pick up their bonus magnet (at the Tourist Information Centers in Mladá Boleslav, Nymburk, or Poděbrady).
The list of magnets and sales points was continuously updated and available on the website.
The game took place from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021.
The “Sestav si svůj svět” project combines fun collecting, travel in the Czech Republic, and the discovery of new places. The regional game “Discover Pojizeří and Polabí” was one example of how collecting magnets can serve as motivation for exploring landscapes and cultural heritage.
