This year, for the first time, spotted rare European bee-eaters nest in the Milovice Reserve

European bee-eaters are one of the most attractive bird inhabitants of the Milovice Reserve. About three years ago, ornithologists noticed that several pairs of European bee-eaters fly through the reserve.

Thanks to their colourful plumage, they are also a favourite for enthusiastic nature photographers who come to the reserve to photograph bisons or wild horses. The Milovice Reserve is also home to other species.
In winter, the sea eagle was spotted flying over the reserve for the first time.
